We had a friend who was part of the Pierce County 4x4 Search and Rescue Team. He used to give hikers who used solely a GPS for navigation a terrible time. Apparently some Search and Rescuers refer to the a GPS with poor signals we often recieve in the heavily wooded parts of this state as a "GPSometimes".
